HAHNEMÜLE BAMMBOO PAPER

All my works are printed on Hahnemüle’s Natural line of renewable Bamboo paper. Hahnemühle started to use bamboo fibres, a fast-growing and sustainable raw material, in 2008 and launched the mixed media paper Bamboo, made from 90% bamboo fibres and 10% cotton rag.

Specifics:
TIPA World Award 2020 "Best Inkjet Photo Paper" - Hahnemüle Natural Line - Bamboo
290 gsm · 90% bamboo fibres · 10% cotton · natural white without optical brightness · soft, lightly textured felt surface · Matt premium inkjet coating · Acid & Lignin free · ISO 9706 conform / museum quality for highest age resistance ·

Hahnemühle Bamboo is the world’s first FineArt inkjet paper made from 90% bamboo fibres, for a natural look and environmentally friendly paper production. The natural white, warm-toned bamboo paper does not contain optical brighteners, and stands out thanks to its soft, lightly textured felt structure and sensual feel. The matt premium inkjet coating delivers excellent printing results with defined reproduction of colour and detail, particularly for warm hues and monochrome prints. Bamboo is acid- and lignin-free and meets the most precise requirements in terms of age resistance. The unique combination of sustainable bamboo fibres, soft surface texture and impressive print quality gives the artwork outstanding expression and soul.

History of Hahnemüle

There are very few companies worldwide that can be proud of such a long company history like Hahnemühle’s. Founded back in 1584 as a paper mill in South Lower Saxony’s Solling uplands.

It goes without saying that the products and manufacturing methods have changed to a certain extent since 1584. In the beginning, the product range solely comprised mould-made writing paper but later, artist papers and the Hahnemühle invented fine-art inkjet papers for digital print were added to the range. Furthermore, Hahnemühle papers have been used for decades in industrial production or manufacturing processes as well as in research laboratories. At the same time, several things have remained the same, such as our high quality standard that guarantees the purest papers for art or technical applications.

Hahnemüler paper technologists are proficient in their trade. With high-quality pulp and by using formulations that are partly several centuries old, they produce traditional artist papers, FineArt inkjet papers and speciality papers for industry and filtration. They are – in the positive sense – perfectionists and reliable partners for artists, technicians and scientists.

DELIVERY

All delivery costs are included in the price of the print if its being delivered within UK & EUROPE. If you are outside of these territories there is delivery fee of £30 added in the check out section. This covers international tracking and signed delivery with Royal mail.

Each piece is printed to order and inspected by Douglas before final packaging and signing, they are not bulk printed and signed and waiting for shipment. This ensures the highest quality art being sent to you, however this does mean the delivery times can vary depending on the demands of the studio. Orders will be sent for printing the day the payment is processed and standard lead times for the studios printers are 2-3 days before work is ready for inspection. With this being the standard the piece should arrive between 5-7 working days of the order placement. If Douglas is away on assignment to some far flung corner of the wild, unfortunately orders will be paused until he has returned.

All artwork is sent in a reinforced, specialist cardboard tube designed for the specific for the prints. These are sent via DPD delivery service directly from the studios post inspection and final signature from Douglas.

Once artwork has been collected you will receive a tracking number via email so you can track your order.

CHRISTMAS DELIVERY

All deliveries made online by the 10th of December are guaranteed delivery before Christmas. Any orders placed after that may arrive but due to workload at the studio this may not be possible. So all deliveries for Christmas must be placed by and on the 10th of December.
